The Jitterbug Stroll is a swing line dance choreographed in 1992 by Ryan Francois, a world renowned Lindy Hop dancer and teacher who skyrocketed to fame during the early 1990s with his wins at all the most prestigious swing dance competitions of that time (dancing with Jenny Thomas).

The Jitterbug Stroll line dance was choreographed to fit blues phrasing (6 bars of music per phrase). It’s also a stroll so it turns counter-clockwise in quarters after each completed phrase. The particular song it’s designed for is “Woodchoppers Ball.”
